Suppliers

The supplier tab is not essential for using SIM.
You can use only one supplier name, or leave it blank, you can also use this tab to store other information that you think is more useful.
There is a SIM option that allows automated processing from this list, such as automatic generation of Purchase Order forms.

Button	Action
Help	Opens a browser on the SIM website.
Refresh	Displays all data in the database, regardless of previous searches. Also allows you to have up-to-date data in a multi workstation version.
Export	Exports the displayed data in an Excel file
Email	Sends an email to the supplier
Web	Opens your browser on the website
New	Creates a new supplier
Edit	Edits the selected line to modify the properties of a supplier
Quit	Exits the software

As suppliers are not essential for GSM, you can store in this table all the information that you think is useful, for example several lines to have several contacts among a supplier, or additional information on a product family.

Field	Format	Description
ID	Integer	Identifier. Each reference has a database number that you don't normally have to worry about. It is automatically assigned to the creation of a supplier.

Zip Code	Integer	Postal code
City	Text	Municipality
Country	Text	Country name
Last Name	Text	Your contact's last name
First Name	Text	Your contact's first name
Title	Text	The role of your contact
Tel 1	Integer	Main phone number
Tel 2	Integer	Secondary phone number
Fax	Text	For the orders
Mail	Text	Your contact's email address

It is possible to define a section [FOURNISSEURS] in the GSM.ini configuration file
The possible parameters in this section are:

• PAGE = ORIGINE

Enables you to rename the Supplier tab as Origin or any other text:

• COLONNE2 = NOM2
• COLONNEX = NOMX

Enables you to rename each of the columns.
